This policy covers how and when I collect, use and/or share information when you make a purchase from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy and related sites. It does not apply to third parties that I don't own or control.

Information I collect: When you order from me, you are required to provide certain information such as your name, address, email address, payment information, and details pertaining to the product you're ordering. By using Etsy to purchase from me, you have authorized Etsy to provide this information to me. You may also choose to provide additional information to me such as personal information as it applies to a custom order such as embroidering initials, putting a name on a product, etc.

Why I need your information and how I use it: I use your information as needed to fulfill an order, settle disputes, and provide customer service. Your information also used if needed should any legal issues arise such as complying with court orders or in connection with a legal claim. Your information is also used for the purpose of my legitimate interests, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving my services and in compliance with Etsy's policies and terms of service.

Information sharing and disclosure: Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows: Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under Etsy's policies and terms of service. Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

Data retention: I retain your personal information for only as long as required to provide you with the services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may be required to retain your information for longer to comply with legal and regulatory obligations and resolve disputes. I generally keep your information for 3 years.

Transfers of personal information outside the EU: I do not transfer your personal information outside the EU beyond as required by law or to provide you my services through Etsy.

Your rights: If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. Access: You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below. Change, restrict, delete: You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request. Object: You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons. Complain: If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
